Gen-I Call to Action: Back to School!

September marks the start of our new monthly Gen-I Calls to Action! Our Call to Action is a new way to engage with the Gen-I Network and get a peek into the daily lives of Native youth. By participating, you help continue the work of the Generation Indigenous initiative and help the Network to continue to evolve and grow.

September is Back to School month for many, so we are asking you to show us how you get ready for school! What does your education mean to you as an Indigenous person and why is your education important? Let us know with a short video or picture! We leave it up to you to interpret what going back to school means, and hope this serves as an outlet to
be creative and have some fun in the name of Gen-I!

If you would like to participate, please fill out this form.
We will post your submissions to our social media accounts and tag you*. If you submit a form, you also have the chance to win Gen-I swag, so don’t
miss out on your chance to win**!

If you have any questions, please reach out to Tashia Arnold at 202.464.4332, tashia.arnold@aspeninstitute.org or tarnold.cnay@gmail.com.

*By participating in this event, you give permission to the Center for Native American Youth and The Aspen Institute to share your videos, pictures, and stories in promotional items, with funders and partners, and on social media.

**Winners are randomly selected from those who submit forms. Prizes will be shipped once winners are selected.
