Del Curfman

Newman's Own Foundation Fellow

Del Curfman is Crow from Pryor, Montana and a B.F.A dual graduate of the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) in Studio Arts, with a focus in painting and Museum Studies. He is joining CNAY’s team for a one-year fellowship from the Newman’s Own Foundation Fellowship Program. Del’s undergraduate work focused on contributing to Contemporary Native Art. He has work in multiple galleries across the US, and in 2016, Del had his first international solo show in Bristol UK. Del’s previous Washington DC experience includes a 2015 internship with the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of the American Indian, (NMAI) where he worked in collections care and exhibit design and fabrication.

Del comes to the Center for Native American Youth with a passion for service and dedication to improving the lives of and inspiring Native youth.
