Jazmyn Espinoza

Jazmyn founded the Warrior Circle Project as a safe space for youth to support one another through challenges such as sexual violence and suicide ideation. This work earned her recognition as a 2015 CNAY Champion for Change. Jazmyn is now a published author of young adult fiction, penning titles such as Dream Catcher, which centers on a young Native woman protagonist. A mother of two, Jazmyn is a strong advocate for mental health and sexual assault survivors.

"Not only we as Natives, but we as people, need to start investing in youth to combat the hardships they face. These challenges have gone on for far too long and we can be the generation to stand up and make change."
