I was raised in Martin, South Dakota. I love to paint and draw mostly landscapes of South Dakota.
This is a charcoal art piece focusing on the South Dakota Badlands with a buffalo-shaped silhouette. This symbolizes where I grew up in South Dakota, where I saw the Badlands everyday. Along with seeing buffalo in the badlands and it being a sacred animal both in my life and ancestors lives.
