I live in Alamo, New Mexico, with my mom, stepfather and two sisters. I am Navajo. I am in the 9th grade. I love art. I draw, paint, make pottery and crochet small creatures.
My family is sacred to me. It’s how I find myself in the world. I am the oldest sister. I have a sister two years younger and a baby sister. I care for them and take care of them. They annoy me sometimes but without them who would I be? I would probably fail my classes, probably fail in life. My family has helped me become the artist I am now. They have supported me through all my art and let me hang my artwork everywhere in the house. Making Art helps me calm down, helps me see the beauty.
