Artisha Toledo-Youngblood

Artisha Toledo-Youngblood is a Chickasaw and Nez Perce digital artist whose work focuses on portraiture, cultural identity and Indigenous storytelling. She draws inspiration from her community and the strength carried through her family, using art to honor the stories passed down from them.

My artwork is a digital piece honoring Dr. Whirlwind, a Cayuse medicine man. It reflects what is sacred to me: Our ancestors, our history and the strength our people have carried through generations. Creating this piece is my way of keeping their presence alive and honoring where we come from.
