The boy is laying down on the ground because he is apart of the earth and everything around him. The corn stalks and the pumpkins represent sacred food. The city and the reservation are pictured with the backdrop of the sacred sunrise. Shining eagle feather sun rays are on the land with heart blessings. Everything is related on earth, in the picture. “We are a part of the earth.” – Denali G.
