Our future generations are sacred to me. My hope is long after I’m gone, through my actions and art I’m able to share our ways. I was honored with the responsibility of being a Godfather. I am still surprised but also feel so accomplished because they thought of me. The bonnet, ribbon dress and moccasins are traditions that I want for my children. The designs reflect who she comes from. I want her to be able to look back and remember the reason I made these things for her and pass down sacred traditions to her future generations.
