Lauren Rose Reyes (she/her) is a researcher, beadworker and writer from the Los Angeles area. She writes and speaks on intersections of culture, science, healing and medicine. Reyes carries her Mexican, Diné (Navajo) and Nde (Mescalero Apache) heritage throughout her work.
She is a recent graduate of Stanford University, where she studied Human Biology and Science Communication. Currently, she works as a Medical Assistant and is writing her first book of poetry. Her professional goals are to become a physician and advocate for her communities through practicing medicine and delivering culturally-based health education.
