Sunny Wahquahboshkuk

Sunny (‘Puc’) Wahquahboshkuk (she/her) is a 22-year-old enrolled member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi and Muscogee Creek Nations. Originally from Kansas, she is currently studying Media Communications at Haskell Indian Nations University and plans to transfer to the Institute of American Indian Arts. Puc is an aspiring filmmaker, podcast producer and journalist.

Through her experience working with the Rising Voices, Changing Coasts Hub (RVCC) as a podcast producer, Puc hopes to produce her own podcast focusing on the MMIP/MMIWG2S epidemic, raising awareness while uplifting Native American families and communities across Indian Country. In all her work, she strives to place greater focus on data sovereignty, awareness and education.
