HOPI
My painting is Patuungmana (Our Pumpkin Girl) she is a beautiful being. The girls in my family are all Patuungmana she is so beautiful. Pumpkin squash is created when a bee lands on a male pumpkin flower and then lands on a female pumpkin flower. Allowing the female flower to become fertilized and start growing the pumpkin in her belly. This is the creation of life for a new pumpkin. I sing Hopi songs because they bring prayers for health, strength and hope for everyone. I sign my name Muki on all my paintings.
