16 Chinook & Isleta Pueblo 

My piece illustrates my hopes and dreams for the future. I used Chief Siʔaɫ (Chief Seattle) to represent my thoughts because he has been such an inspiration to me and my community. I thought a lot about our indigenous current issues, MMIW, fading of native languages, unjust representation of tribes from the government, and lack of culture throughout our people. My hope for future generations is to fix these issues by representing, acknowledging, and educating.
