The story is carried by Menominee words, words for “soul” “Menominee People”, “high spirit/God” “protection”, etc. are used. Questions that we, as a minority community, as well as an underrepresented community, constantly are forced to address as well are included. Being a creative is sharing these stories, these words, with people; but words themselves cannot simply share a story, no matter how powerful—a picture must be painted (in this case, drawn) for the viewer. Art has supplied my community with culture and practices that continue to last within time.
