13, Muscogee Creek and Hunkpapa Lakota
My art work represents me. I am proud to be Afro indigenous. I have protested for black and indigenous rights. Participate in prayer runs and events for the boarding school children found in the graves, MMIW, and BLM events. I’m raised by a single mother with my two brothers and sister. My mom is a domestic violence survivor, as myself and siblings witnessed everything so I put the Domestic Violence Survivor ribbon because I feel my whole family is survivors. I feel this painting represents me and the different parts of me. Thank you for this opportunity.
