Our Vision is for all Native American youth to lead full and healthy lives, to have equal access to opportunity, and to draw strength from their culture and inspire one another.

AGE: 17

I’m a 17 year old tribal member in central Louisiana. Over the past year I’ve had the honor of representing my tribe as tribal princess. I plan on attending Northwestern State University next fall.

The main message of the painting is that no matter what age, or what size, we as native youth have a voice. We were put on this planet to care for Mother Earth, this explaining the background color choice.
