16, Chickasaw Nation
This piece of art I made during a very hard time during my life. The inspiration behind the piece was how I talk to myself in my head. The hair contains hateful comments I have repeated to myself. I wrote it on the hair to represents the weight it carries on my mind. The blue and orange around the portait represents a future when I am better. I used acrylic paint for a vibrant background. I used pencil for the face and neck to create a dull effect on the person.
