Being creative to me means doing something different and new. I like to make my art unique by adding many colors and patterns. During the pandemic, I taught myself how to crochet. I crochet various items and by that, I am expressing myself by being creative. My crochet art is about my first clan. I am of the K’aa’hinaanii Todich’ii’nii which means Living Arrow Bitter Water. The brown arrow represents the Living Arrow and background colors represents Bitter Water. My art is me, who I am as a Dine (Navajo). My art supports my identity, my family, and my culture.
