Melissa Clyde, MSW (she/her) is an accomplished Diné social worker, consultant and advocate dedicated to driving transformative system change for Indigenous communities. As the CEO and Founder of Dahiitíhí Insight Consulting LLC, Melisa spearheads culturally attuned consultation, coaching and training services, fostering empowerment and sustainable development within the communities she serves. Her mission is to empower communities, honor cultural values and build equitable futures for generations to come.

Melissa’s extensive leadership experience includes guiding national tribal teams, championing equitable child and family services, and shaping policy within tribal nations. Her unwavering commitment to education, equity and justice is reflected in her active service on boards and committees focused on enhancing opportunities for Indigenous children and families. As a United Nations Indigenous Fellow, Melissa upholds the principles of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, ensuring her work aligns with global standards for dignity and inclusivity.

Melissa’s connection to her Navajo heritage is central to her life and work. Residing in Colorado with her family and two beloved dogs, she frequently returns home to New Mexico to visit her parents and extended relatives—nurturing bonds with her roots and cultural traditions. Her passion for collecting Navajo jewelry and art reflects her deep appreciation for the beauty and richness of her culture.
