This art piece titled “Nʉmʉnaina” (Comanche Language for “Life”) encompasses a multitude of symbols that represent an optimistic and uplifting outlook on our future I hold as an Indigenous woman. When we individually decide to simultaneously connect with the natural world and relearn to walk our ancestors ways of life through thought, deed and word, can we create a better future for generations to come. This piece was created for both digital and paper coloring page for our youth to be inspired by whilst assisting in normalizing Indigenous Illustration. The art files contain coloring sheet and a full color reference.
