I am from the Navajo Nation and that is where most of my inspiration and birth language is from. I had the love of drawing ever since I was little. I was good at drawing creatures like dragons and monsters, but I mainly struggle doing humanoid beings. My ideas of being an artist was my favorite hobby in life and will use this in my future career. I was well known for being a good artist by relatives and some friends. It was my ideas and sketches that inspire myself to do better.
The idea of water looking so beautiful in the moons shine inspired me to make this wonderful artpiece. I also saw in my tribal artwork and other tribes’ artwork depicting of a Waterbird, it is the symbol of Ceremonial Healing, Life and the Messenger to the afterlife. It shows the Waterbird coming out of the water with a bright colorful glow. The coyote is well known to many tribes as the trickster. The person behind the moon is Black God the creator of fire and the one who made the stars, he is often old and portrayed in ceremonial fashion.
