Penny S.

Hi, my name is Penny and I am 6 years old. I am in 1st grade and I love all animals. I’m from the foothills of Northern California. I live near a beautiful area called “Apple Hill” where there are a lot of trees, ranches, orchards and vineyards. I love to spend time there with my family.

My grandpa is one of my favorite people in the whole world. We call him “Pop T” or “Papa T”. We say that he’s a bear but he’s a friendly bear that gives us hugs and makes us laugh. He picks me up at school every week and we go to the apple orchards and have donuts and apple cider together. Sometimes we paint together too and he tells me silly jokes. I know that sacred means important and special so I drew him because that is what he is. On the back I drew him with his cat.
