Samuel Hiratsuka

Samuel Hiratsuka (Unangax̂ , Yup’ik, Winnemem Wintu & Navajo) serves as a member of the Center for Native American Youth’s (CNAY) Youth Advisory Board (YAB). Previously, Samuel served as a 2023 CNAY Champion for Change and later served as the YAB’s Vice Chair. Samuel also works as a Professional Staff Member on the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs under Chairman Murkowski and earlier served in the DC office of U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan as a Legislative Correspondent and, later, a Legislative Assistant focused on Indigenous and Rural Affairs for U.S. Representative Mary Sattler Peltola (Yup’ik).
