Tiana Uriarte (she/her) is from the Navajo Nation and is currently a third-year Public Health major and McNair Scholar at California State University, Stanislaus. She plans to pursue graduate school after completing her bachelor’s degree in Spring 2027. Her research interests focus on complementary, alternative and integrative medicine (CAIM). Currently, she is conducting research on ethnomedicine with a mentor at CSU Stanislaus. In her free time, Tiana enjoys playing the guitar, hiking and spoiling her cat, Merlin.
