Victoria Garcia

Victoria Garcia (she/her) is an enrolled member of North Fork Rancheria, and student at Fresno State in Central CA. She is pursuing an interdisciplinary degree of Linguistics/Anthropology and is involved with the Indigenous community on campus through club activities and classes. 

Outside of school, she is a part of a Western Mono language documentation project led by speakers in her tribe, acting as a recorder and transcriber.  She serves her community through language revitalization efforts as well as advocacy for higher education and community wellness.
