Yahz resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has experience in foster care where he faced many struggles. He wants this fellowship to strengthen the cultural well being of Native foster who are displaced in life, to prevent harmful damage. He wants to collaborate with others with similar experiences to learn to advocate and become more familiar with policies to propose solutions.
