Zane Talwani

Zane Talwani (he/him), descendant of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of beautiful Western Montana, is a research intern at CNAY’s headquarters in Washington, DC. Zane is a rising junior at San Diego State University studying Political Science and Spanish. He is an active member of Delta Beta Tau fraternity, a co-ed organization based on buddhist principles and community service.

Zane is grateful for the opportunity to have a front row seat to the nonprofit world and get to work in the city where policies impacting Indian Country are made. Zane is focused on creating pathways for Native youth to be civically engaged in meaningful ways in an ever changing world. He is particularly interested in building community among urban Indian populations.
