Project Venture (formerly NIYLP) empowers the lives of Indigenous youth through experiential education in a positive learning environment. Project Venture includes activities like hiking, backpacking, rafting, ropes courses, and rock climbing designed to incorporate traditional values.

Provides merit-based scholarships for Alaska Natives (CIRI and descendants only), 3 village scholarships for Ninilchik, Salamatof and Eklutna based on available funds, 9 endowment scholarships and 2 named scholarships, and 2 education grants.
