CNAY Executive Director Selected for Obama Foundation Fellowship

The Center for Native American Youth is proud of our executive director, Nikki Santos, who was selected to be part of the first Obama Foundation Leaders USA Program. The Obama Foundation Leaders USA program is a six-month leadership development program that seeks to inspire, empower, and connect emerging leaders across the country. Together, Leaders will accelerate positive and lasting change in their communities with a focus on strengthening institutions across sectors toward a more inclusive, participatory democracy.

“I look forward to scaling the impact of my work for Native American communities as an Obama Foundation USA Leader,” said Nikki  “Working alongside the inaugural United States Leaders, I will gain necessary insights and resources to drive systemic change and create lasting solutions to the challenges that impact our Native American youth. I am honored to collaborate with leaders from diverse backgrounds to advance equity, justice, and social progress.”

On behalf of our program, congratulations, Nikki!
