Register for the Native American Career Success Academy

This Gen-I Native Opportunities Weekly (NOW) message shares information about the Native American Career Success Academy and Gen-I Career Success Fellowship!

The Center for Native American Youth is partnering with the Native American Finance Officers Association (NAFOA) to bring you the Native American Career Success Academy (NACSA), a free online course for Native youth on financial literacy and career readiness.

Native youth between the ages of 18 and 24 who successfully complete NACSA are eligible to apply for the Gen-I Career Success Fellowship, a program designed to support youth who are motivated to pursue careers that advance tribal economies. Last year, Gen-I Fellows joined NAFOA for a pre-conference learning institute in San Francisco!

To be eligible to apply for the Fellowship, you must first complete NACSA. Click here to register.

To Apply for the Gen-I Career Success Fellowship:

  1. Register for NACSA. NAFOA will send you login credentials to access CANVAS, your online NACSA classroom.
  2. Complete both NACSA modules online before February 9, 2018. Don’t worry – you can go at your own pace!

CNAY and NAFOA will contact you with more information about the Fellowship selection process once you’ve finished your online courses.

NoteNACSA is free and available to all Native youth. However, only Native youth between the ages of 18 and 24 will be eligible to apply for the Gen-I Career Success Fellowship.
