Jarrette Werk, enrolled member of Gros Ventre Tribe of Fort Belknap, Montana, home of the Aaniiih and Nakoda Nations, is a multimedia journalism student at the University of Nevada, Reno. With an emphasis in Indigenous affairs reporting, Werk is using his platform to bring awareness to Indigenous issues and working towards reclaiming the Indigenous narrative. Through his lens, he captures and creates fresh and contemporary imagery within Indian Country.
